Cylindrical roller bearings
Features of Cylindrical roller bearings
Cylindrical roller bearings are separable and are very easy to install and disassemble. These bearings are particularly suitable for high-speed operation scenarios, handling substantial radial loads. Their limiting speed is close to that of deep groove ball bearings.
The internal structure of cylindrical roller bearings has rollers arranged in parallel with spacers or isolation blocks between them. These spacers prevent the tilt and friction between rollers, effectively reducing the increase in rotating torque.
The minimal friction between the rolling element and the ring flange makes them ideal for high-speed rotation.
Why We Are The Right Choice?
Small Cone Angle
Primarily handles combined radial and axial loads, with a focus on radial loads. Often used in pairs, installed in opposite directions to manage the loads effectively. The inner and outer races can be installed separately, allowing for adjustable radial and axial gaps during installation and use.
Large Cone Angle
Primarily handles combined axial and radial loads, with a focus on axial loads. Not typically used for pure axial loads alone. When installed in opposite pairs, they can bear pure radial loads.
Structural Types
Tapered roller bearings are mainly supplied in 3 types based on the number of rows of rollers.
Types of Cylindrical roller bearings
Cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into different types based on different number of columns installed with rolling elements, including single row, double row and multi-row cylindrical roller bearings. Different structural bearings are also reflected in the position design of the rib. Among them, the commonly used cylindrical roller bearings have the following types
- Single-Row Types (N,NU, NJ, NF, NUP, NEP,NH): Optimal for high-speed rotation with minimal friction.
- Double-Row Types (NNU, NN,NNF): For enhanced load-carrying requirements, providing robust support for demanding applications including machine tool spindles.
NN type: The outer ring has no ribs, and the inner ring has ribs on both sides and a middle rib in the middle.
NNU type: The outer ring has ribs on both sides and a middle rib in the middle, while the inner ring has no ribs.
NNF type: The bearing is a double-row full-complement cylindrical roller bearing, consisting of an outer ring with a middle rib and two inner rings with double ribs. The design of this structure can bear large radial and axial loads as well as overturning moments, making it commonly used as a fixed-end bearing.
- Four row cylindrical roller bearings(FC,FCD): Mainly used in cold and hot rolling mills, billet cutting machines and other rolling machinery.
FC: bearings consist of two outer rings and one inner ring. Each outer ring has ribs on both sides and a middle rib in the middle, while the inner ring has no ribs.
FCD: The bearing is actually a combination of two NN bearings.
