Description
DF face seal is designed for high-load equipment, often used in a variety of heavy mining equipment prone to large vibration, impact parts, such as mining equipment rocker arm, sprocket, reducer and so on. It is composed of A pair of L-shaped floating seal rings and a pair of rubber rings (rubber dish springs), which are assembled in the L-shaped floating seal seat, and the principle is similar to that of type DO. Since the deformation capacity of the rubber ring is greater than that of the O-ring, it can provide a larger floating range. During the heavy-duty floating oil seal’s operation, the transmission force generated by the torque of the rubber ring stabilizes its functioning within the seat cavity.
Compared with the DO type, the DF type design requires less installation space and the corresponding groove shape is easier to process. However, the groove corresponding to this series of seals has higher processing accuracy requirements. Since the compression deformation of DF type rubber ring and DO type rubber ring are different, they must be installed strictly according to the specified compression size and clearance.
