Cylindrical roller bearings consist of cylindrical rollers and the raceways in linear contact. They have a high load-carrying capacity, primarily bearing radial loads.The friction between the rolling element and the ring flange is minimal, making it suitable for high-speed rotation. Depending on whether the ring has flanges, they are single-row cylindrical roller bearings such as NU, NJ, NUP, N, and NF, and double-row cylindrical roller bearings such as NNU and NN. This bearing has a separable inner ring and outer ring.

Cylindrical roller bearings without flanges on either the inner or outer rings allow relative axial movement,so they can be used as free-end bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings with double ribs on one side of the inner ring and outer ring and a single flange on the other side of the ring can withstand a certain degree of axial load in one direction. Generally, steel plate stamping cages or copper alloy machined solid cages are used. However, some use polyamide molded cages.

Features

• The rollers and raceways are in line contact or slightly modifiedline contact. They have large radial load-carrying capacity and are suitable for withstanding heavy loads and impact loads.
• The friction coefficient is minimal, suitable for high speeds, and the limit speed is close to that of deep groove ball bearings.
• N type and NU type can move axially, can adapt to changes in the relative position of the shaft and housing caused by thermal expansion or installation errors, and can be used as free end supports.
• The processing requirements for the shaft or seat hole are relatively high. After the bearing is installed, the relative deflection of the outer ring axis must be strictly controlled to avoid contact stress concentration.Inner or outer rings are separable, facilitating installation and removal.
• Bearings with an outer ring without flanges (N0000 series) and an inner ring without flanges (NU0000 series) can accept large radial loads,havehigh limit speed, do not restrict the axial displacement of the shaft or housing, and cannot takeaxial loads.
• Cylindrical roller bearings with both inner and outer rings flanged (NJ0000 series, NF0000 series) can restrict axial displacement in one direction and accept smaller unidirectional axial loads.NU0000+HJ0000, NJ0000+HJ0000, and NUP0000 bearings can restrain the axial displacement of the shaft or shell in both directions within the axial clearance range of the imported bearings, and can accept small bidirectional axial loads.
